101 FACES IN MANHATTAN, SHANGHAI, MADRID, PARIS & LONDON

 

Un trabajo que parte del hecho de la igualdad que observo en las personas que habitamos en grandes ciudades. Nosotros “ciudadanos globales” vamos adoptando comportamientos, gustos y forma visual de mostrarnos a los demás, propios de esta nueva nacionalidad. Las razas, los orígenes se mezclan y estas nuevas “tribus o grupos” urbanos son globales.

 

Una serie de retratos realizados en la calle, plenamente urbanos, son el cuerpo de este proyecto que a través de 101 retratos de habitantes de esta ciudad, donde la diversidad de razas, orígenes, género, religiones y pensamientos han hecho de esta ciudad, quizá la mas global y diversa del mundo y por tanto una excelente muestra de esa globalización y unidad.

Se trata de un proyecto en proceso, para desarrollarse en diversas ciudades.

 

 

101 FACES IN MANHATTAN, SHANGHAI, MADRID, PARIS & LONDON

 

This is a work which starts from the fact of equality that I see in people who live in big cities. We “global citizens” are taking behaviors, likes and looking way on which we show ourselves to others, typical of this new nationality. Races and origins are mixed on these new global urban tribes or groups.

 

A series of portraits on the street, fully urban, are the body of this project through 101 pictures of people in this city, where diversity of race, origin, gender, religion and thoughts have made this city, perhpas the more global and diverse in the world, therefore an excellent example of this globalization and unity.

This is a project in progress to develop around different cities.
