UNPLUGGED

​

Caminar por la ciudad con los sentidos abiertos nos hace descubrir paisajes, personas y momentos que de otra forma pasarían inadvertidos, quizá solo presente para los vecinos del barrio, o quizá también por rutina pueden pasar sin mayor atención.

No solo los espacios, sino el comportamiento de los ciudadanos y la relación de estos con el medio, nos enseñan aspectos y detalles que nos hacen comprender mejor esa urbe.

 

Cada paso puede ser una historia o solo una imagen pero es un momento único, un aspecto extraordinario que que de otra manera quedaría oculto a la vista, ya sea un instante real o de ficción pero forma parte de la denominada cultura urbana, que nos puede hacer pensar en ¿Cuánto de ficción tenemos en nuestras ciudades? o por extensión en nuestra sociedad actual.

 

Este trabajo Unplugged son un conjunto de fotografías inconexas entre si pero con el denominador común de ser un instante observado, un momento de sorpresa que ha hecho pararme y fotografiar.

 

UNPLUGGED

When walking through the city with open senses, we can discover scenes, people and moments that on the contrary these would be unnoticed, perhaps only available for some neighbors or neither even for them.

Not only the spaces, but the habits of people and their relationship with the nearby streets can show to us aspects and details to understand better the city.

 

Each step on our walking can be a story or just a picture but it is a sole moment, an extraordinary aspect that would otherwise be hidden away at our sight, it can be real or a fictional moment but it is a part of the urban culture, which can make us to think about how much fiction do we have in our cities? or by extension in our current society.

 

This work Unplugged is a set of photographs that are unrelated to each other but with the common denominator of being a time to be observed, a moment of surprise that has made me to stop and shot.
